Bob's Life Story ...

     Bob began playing ... music at the age of 5, on an antique 1800's pump organ given to him from his grandmother.  He began formal instruction at age eleven and began his music career at age thirteen as Assistant Organist at his home town church, in Elizabeth, PA. 
     At the age of fourteen ... he was accepted into the Student Arts Program at Duquesne University School of Music in Pittsburgh, PA  where he studied piano, organ and voice and continued his studies there through his high school and college years.  
     During Bob's high school years ... he also studied trumpet and baritone horn under brass specialist, Edward Shiner, and at the age of sixteen had the honor of performing with the Pittsburgh Symphony in an all Tchaikovsky program featuring Pianist Van Cliburn, with Donald Johanos conducting.
